School age
Start with the school: ask what learning support, assessment or referral route is available. Dyslexia Ireland also provides private/charity assessment services for children and young people.
Adults
Dyslexia Ireland provides adult dyslexia and dyscalculia assessment information. For employment, reasonable accommodations and Work and Access may be relevant depending on the barrier and evidence.
College
Contact the college disability/access office early. The HEA Fund for Students with Disabilities supports eligible students through institutions rather than as a direct student payment.
